Sonu Kumar is the founder of Open Interest. He has over 5 years of experience in Private Equity, Wealth, and Investments, and looks after all investment activities at Open Interest. Before forming Open Interest in 2024, Sonu was an Associate in the Private Markets division at a US-based venture where he served the world’s top Asset and Wealth Management Company.
During his tenure at various organizations, he also held roles in the Investment Banking, Deals and Operations Division. Also, helped startups founders to connect with VCs to raise funds.
Sonu received an M.B.A. from Manipal University Jaipur in 2024 and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Delhi in 2021.
